Port d'Envaux, 7 km north of Saintes, 40 minutes away from Royan, Charente Valley

In Charente Maritime, the owners welcome you to Château Mouillepied, built in the 15th and 18th century, restored keeping in character. It represents modern comfort in the countryside in the middle of Romanic Saintonge, 30 km to Cognac and Atlantic beaches : Royan, Ile d'Oleron. Located 7 km to Saintes on the left bank of the Charente, exit 35 of the motorway : A10 from Paris to Bordeaux (110 km) and A837 from La Rochelle Airport (65 km).

Between Cognac, Saintes, Saint-Jean d'Angély and the ocean quite close. Deep in the heart of the vineyards, 15 minutes away from Cognac, a superbly restored stone built 18th century property, a large garden of 7000 sqm, with mature trees and a swimming pool, spacious bedrooms, on the ground floor, with independent access (B&B). Two independent gites, holiday homes with private garden and swimming pool.

In the heart of the "Saintonge romane" and it's medieval treasures, just besides the world famous vineyards of Cognac, on the road of the pilgims to Saint-Jacques de Compostelle, the Domaine overhangs the hamlet of La Laigne and its 26 houses. Until the early sixties, the Domaine produced Cognac and Pineau des Charentes. Today, it will greet you and let you enjoy the peace of a mansion of the XVIIIth century, in a 2,5 hectares park, 5 minutes away from the historical center of Saint-Jean-d'Angély and its shops, 30 minutes away from the Ocean.
