Montendre les Pins (pop. 3500) which offers all amenities and shops
you may require, and also provides entertainment activities. A stone
throw from your accommodation, the other side of the pine forest,
there is the Lake "Baron Desqueyroux". It covers an area of 10
hectares and is ideal for strolls along its attractive banks, for
swimming or nautical sports and activities.
In the vicinity : Cognac, the vineyards of the Pineau and Cognac
region, Saintes, Bordeaux and its vineyards, Saint Emilion, Libourne
and Blaye. The seaside : Royan and its beaches, the estuary of the
Gironde and its traditional activities, Marennes, La Rochelle, the
Islands of Oléron, Aix and Ré. |

pools and the beaches are 15 minutes away from our house and
all the shops and restaurants are on the spot.
